Beach St Seafoods Forster

For excellent fish n chips, then you have to try Beach Street Seafoods in Forster. It's my favourite place to grab fish n chips or battered king prawns, calamari and fresh local oysters. Beach Street Seafoods recently introduced Oysters Kilpatrick.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the service is quick. Please be patient in peak holiday periods, of course.

Cooking the food in cholesterol-free oil and a thin batter makes it less greasy. I often buy the fish cocktails; however, they are pretty big, and I learnt not to over-order. The chips are also a very generous serve.

The premises are clean, and you can choose to take-away or eat inside or, weather permitting, on the outside dining tables that overlooks the main street and water views to the left. Take note in summer, the mosquitoes are ferocious, so being prepared with some repellent will help.
