Hamiltons Oysters Tuncurry
Hamiltons Oysters Tuncurry overlooks the beautiful Wallis Lake. Known for its fresh oysters with great toppings, Hamiltons Oysters also serves a range of interesting dishes. The oysters are harvested fresh from Hamiltons own farm on Wallis Lake (subject to seasonal availability or from other local estuaries at other times).
With spectacular views of the water and surrounding landscape lucky diners often also get to witness dolphins swimming in Wallis Lake.
Hamiltons Oysters Tuncurry offers all day dining and casual marina berths free of charge for patrons visiting the restaurant. You can even top the boat up with fuel when you visit. Seating is both inside or out on the verandah under striped umbrellas. There is no table service so customers need to order and pay at the bar.
The takeaway kiosk offers burgers, fish and chips, coffees along with ice, bait, ice-creams and cold drinks and their fresh oysters are also available to take away. There are plenty of places to take your fish and chips and enjoy the views, with a picnic area and kids playground not far from the restaurant.

As a local (I can walk there) I have to say Hamiltons Oysters are in a prime position offering great oysters and views.
