Village Charm & Riverside Relaxation

Nabiac's main street is lined with an array of local businesses, including a popular pub and bistro, cozy cafes, takeaway eateries, a butcher, gift shops, a bakery renowned for its legendary pies, a supermarket, rural supply stores, and bric-a-brac shops. The village exudes a welcoming atmosphere, inviting visitors to explore its offerings at a leisurely pace.

A picturesque picnic area by the river provides the perfect setting for a relaxing afternoon. Strolling along the country roads, you'll encounter scenic views of farm animals grazing in the fields. At times, the river's surface mirrors the sky like glass, while at other moments, fish leap from the water, and jellyfish drift by. Be mindful, though—bull sharks are known to frequent the Wallamba River, so exercise caution when swimming. For boating enthusiasts, the river offers an idyllic setting for a day trip.

Nabiac Farmers Markets

Held on the last Saturday of each month (except December) from 8 am to 12 noon at the Nabiac Showground, the Nabiac Farmers Market is a vibrant community event. Run by volunteers as a non-profit initiative, the market features locally grown and organic fruits and vegetables, pasture-raised eggs, homemade cakes, chocolates, gingerbread, olive products, honey, natural skincare items, gourmet goodies, wines, breads, a variety of plants, seeds, seedlings, locally made art, artisan jewellery, and unique gifts.
