As soon as I pulled up in the driveway to the Boambee Airbnb I had booked, I knew I was in for a treat.
Nestled in the serene heart of Boambee, a picturesque escape just a stone's throw from Coffs Harbour, my recent retreat to this charming Airbnb was nothing short of rejuvenating.
From the moment I arrived, Herbie, the friendly resident dog, greeted me warmly as I pulled into the driveway. Alison, the delightful host, had mentioned Herbie might be there to welcome me, and his wagging tail confirmed it.
Stepping onto the verandah, I was immediately captivated by the tranquil view of the pond and lush rainforest. It was the perfect antidote after a three-hour drive, leaving me instantly relaxed and ready to unwind.
Inside the cottage, the decor and layout impressed me as much as the cleanliness. The well-equipped kitchen invited culinary adventures, while the spacious bathroom with its hidden laundry facilities added convenience and comfort.
Although my stay was initially planned for just one night, the homely atmosphere and peaceful surroundings convinced me to extend my visit. Unfortunately, an extra night was already booked, a testament to the popularity of this hidden gem.
