Smiths Lake Mid North Coast NSW

For a scenic drive on the Mid North Coast NSW, Smiths Lake is an enjoyable route with plenty of places to stop and take in the scenery.

Smiths Lake is a popular tourist destination with many activities such as fishing, swimming, nature walks in the surrounding national parks and even a drive down to Seal Rocks lighthouse.

Beaches worth visiting in the area are Blueys Beach, Boomerang Beach and Elizabeth Beach.

Elizabeth Beach is the safer option for swimming

If camping is your dream holiday then you will have plenty of places to stay including the Ruins Camping Ground and Sandbar Holiday Park.

Winter is probably the best time to explore the Booti Botti, Wallingat or Myall Lakes National Parks to avoid mosquitoes and snakes.

Forster is about a 25 minute drive for shopping and restaurants.
