For a beautiful family retreat on the Mid North Coast NSW, Driftwood Lodge offers a luxurious and waterfront experience. This charming property is both boat and pet friendly and sleeps up to 15 guests. This is a special residence and especially suited to families looking for a luxurious retreat on an exclusive waterfront property.

As you can see from the photographs above, there are plenty of rooms and beds to sleep up to 15 people. Some rooms have its own balcony and the granny flat has two beds and a small kitchen. For rainy days, or when the children are bored, games are provided for entertainment.

When I visited Driftwood Lodge I was warmly welcomed by the owners, Murray and Dana. Murray is always there to welcome guests on arrival.

As soon as I walked into the lounge room I fell in love with the decor and ambience and with the cosy fire burning in the corner. The home smells fresh as well with perfumed scents coming from somewhere mysterious, maybe the flowers on the table.

As well as the huge lounge and dining area, Driftwood Lodge offers a covered balcony with dining table and comfortable seating overlooking the gardens and lake. This property offers

offers privacy and seclusion set in the treetops with ample park-like acreage.

The bathrooms are huge and more than adequate to cater for the house guests.

If it's wildlife you are looking for then you will most likely come across many native birds, water birds, lizards and possums. Guests are more than welcome to bring their own kayaks to venture on to the water, however life jackets are recommended, and there are great fishing spots down by the river.

Charlotte Bay is in close proximity to Elizabeth Beach, Blueys Beach and Boomerang Beach. For a nice drive you might like to head down to Seal Rocks.

Driftwood Lodge is located with direct access to Wallis Lake. It is just 3 hours north of Sydney in Pacific Palms, and the twin towns of Forster/Tuncurry just 15 minutes drive north.

This is a beautiful property suitable for a large family (or extended family). There are strict rules regarding excessive noise and no parties/events are allowed.
